Upgrading office phones: Yealink desk phones and the phone app

An Outsource Digital technician replaces a client's old phones with Yealink T33G desk phones and sets up buttons for calling colleagues internally. He explains the phone app: you make calls from your cell phone over the internet and the office number shows, not your cell number. Messages in the app work between app users only.

Okay, so we are installing new phones. It's an upgrade. We are removing the old phones. So, this brand here, it's a Yealink, a model T33G. So, this one has got more buttons for the client to be able to call each other internally by just pressing a button. See, I'm busy configuring the buttons here.

And so, this is more advanced. So, they also have like the Linkus app, which is an app that's linked to our system, our PBX system, where you are able to make calls using your office extension, but from your cell phone. And all it needs is just a connection with your internet, and you're able to call anyone, and when you call someone, it will show as the office number, not your cell phone number, but you're using from your cell phone.
Okay. Can you also send text messages?
You can send messages, but it's going to be only internally. You can only send internally within the people that are using the Linkus app. Yes.
