What a technician checks to stop printer paper jams
11 August 2026
A technician services an office copier and points out the parts that cause paper jams: the transfer roller, the sensors and the feed rollers in each paper cassette. He also shows the large capacity feeder, which holds a whole box of paper, and a part that has changed colour and affects print quality.

And when you do that, you check on the machines, [unclear] bottom, transfer roller. And then there's all of these sensors. Sensors involved. Transfer roller. So, we know these ones are causing jams as well. This is another one here as well. [unclear] all your feed rollers in. First cassette, [unclear] cassette, large capacity feeder. The large capacity feeder gives you, you can put a whole box. So, you don't need to refill papers in there. And these are much bigger machines. [unclear] goes up to 75. All the problems are internal. As you can see, [unclear] this and it shouldn't be this colour.
The portion of this
needs to be black. And because it takes the image and it transfers it onto the paper.
